| for those of you who have been wondering...and even for those who haven't...i've moved! no more berkeley. after 8 (i was actually starting my 9th O_o) grand years of living in the same wonderful northside housing unit, i'm out! in the words of evie, "all done!" mike and i are currently living in my in-laws/his parents' place in danville. we will continue to update with future living plans as i'm sure my in-laws would like us to move out sooner rather than later. :P

| per reader request, here are details about the incident:
1. car in front of me was driving erratically
2. it was an "interesting" looking car (too bad i don't know my car models...b/c then i'd qualify "interesting")
3. we were pulling out from a light and the dude from the passenger side (dunno if it was front or back) pulled out a you-know-what
4. heard a bang
5. saw smoke
6. hand shot back in car
7. no pedestrians fell
8. i kept driving
9. did not have time to catch the license plate; the car zoomed on to the freeway
10. was talking to debs on the phone at the time-she heard the bang too...but she thought that i ran over something :P
i know that it seems ridiculous for me to have kept driving, but really, what would you have done if you were in shock? besides, since no pedestrians fell, i wasn't even sure if it was a real gun. if it was, that might have meant that the person missed their target. (bad shooter? who knows...) GOOD THING.

| i can't believe i'm going to say this. i witnessed my first drive-by shooting today. in fact, i was in the car right behind the drive-byers. O_o
